Colliers is expanding its premium private housekeeping service, and we are looking for exceptional, experienced Housekeepers to join our team.
This is much more than a cleaning role.
We are looking for someone who takes genuine pride in caring for a home and who can confidently manage the day-to-day running of a household.
✨ The role may include:
• High-standard cleaning and presentation of the home
• Dusting, vacuuming and maintaining immaculate surroundings
• Laundry and professional ironing
• Changing beds and maintaining bedrooms
• Keeping kitchens, bathrooms and living areas to an exceptional standard
• Organising and maintaining the household
• Managing household routines
• Running household errands and shopping
• Collecting and delivering items when required
• Taking responsibility and using your own initiative
• Identifying what needs doing without always being asked
• Helping to keep the home organised, welcoming and running smoothly
• Working comfortably in homes with pets
The person we’re looking for
✔️ Experienced in professional housekeeping
✔️ Highly trustworthy, discreet and completely confidential
✔️ Understands the importance of privacy when working within a private household
✔️ Reliable and professional
✔️ Highly organised and takes pride in their work
✔️ Able to work independently and use their own initiative
✔️ Professional, friendly and presentable
✔️ Excellent laundry and ironing skills
✔️ Able to manage a household rather than simply follow a cleaning checklist
✔️ Full UK driving licence and access to a reliable car
✔️ Comfortable running errands on behalf of the household
✔️ Comfortable working around pets
✔️ Able to provide excellent references
All applicants will be interviewed and references will be required before an appointment is made.
💷 Pay: £25 per hour onwards
Pay will be dependent on experience, skills and references, with the opportunity for exceptional candidates to earn more.
We are looking for people interested in regular, long-term work, with hours and days agreed according to the requirements of each household.
